Ultra-Smooth Linear Rails and Dual Z-Axis – The CR-10 SE has a sturdy streamlined design for reaching ultimate speeds with fantastic print quality. Similar to its Ender 3 V3 SE predecessor, this printer has the fantastic stability of Dual Z-axis screws and motors. This extra power and synchronized coordination means your x-axis gantry, where the hotend sits, is guided smoothly as it moves up or down. And on top of that, Creality has upgraded the X-axis to a linear rail for a smoother side motion as well. The carriage slide contains ball bearings to decrease friction and move accurately and steadily. So, your hotend has free movement to create your 3D prints faster and with incredible accuracy!
Upgraded “Sprite” Direct Drive Extruder – This Sprite Direct Drive Extruder and hotend is the pro version that reaches up to 300°C, offers a hardened nozzle, and contains another twist upgrade. Creality has modified their design to include double the cooling with a 12000rpm fan for rapidly cooling your models as you print at high speeds, and a superior hotend with a 60W ceramic heater. The interesting dual-gear design and hardened nozzle is perfect for printing PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, and various advanced filaments like ASA, PA, and PLA-CF. Loading new 3D filament becomes pain-free and the extruder’s extra control brings cleaner print results. This modified Sprite extruder is made for heating your filament fast and smoothly feeding it through at high speeds.
CR Touch & Strain Sensor Automatic Bed-Levelling – A fascinating standout feature is the dual automatic bed-levelling system. The bed plate itself is fixed into place with no adjustable knobs because manual levelling is not in this design whatsoever. The CR Touch sensor automatically adjusts the height of your hotend and maps the entire print bed, ensuring every print is perfectly levelled. Usually to setup this system, you would need to set a “Z-offset”. But the CR-10 SE eliminates this confusing step altogether by including a strain sensor as seen on the CR-6 SE printer. Both sensors work together to automatically level and determine the Z-offset to the millimetre. Finally creating a truly hands-off printing experience!
Flexible Magnetic PEI Spring Steel Sheet – The CR-10 SE features a powdered PEI spring steel bed which peels off the platform and flexes to pop prints easily off the bed. This sturdier and tougher print surface performs wonderfully for good bed adhesion. Flexible build plates bring a new level of convenience to your 3D printing experience, eliminating any need to shovel your 3D prints off the bed as it often feels like using a scraper.
